A few miles off the west coast of Scotland you'll find the Isle of Jura; remote, sometimes wild, yet always beautiful. Home to more than 5000 deer and roughly 212 islanders, there is only one road, one pub and one distillery. Since 1810 this unique Island malt has been our greatest endeavour and our greatest reward. Molly and Felicity are two well-known faces on the island of Jura, so we had to check in for a quick chat! The two take us back to how their journeys to Jura began. Felicity’s mum was the island’s GP, and her return was a homecoming of sorts. For Molly, she’s a long way away from Canada but couldn’t be happier that she landed here on Jura. Whisky, nights out, festivals gone by. Join them as the...

Jura Whisky | How to Make a Jura Sunset
One of their best very jazzy influences. But true to Scottish roots. Never as quite as grounded when the fiddle dropped out in Seattle. A story there?
Changed my life around listening to you guys unbelievable keep up the good work yours truly Paul Pascal O'Donoghue god bless
Jura a fine sipping whiskey. And this is fine too.
Trad gone to Jazz. Old sounds made new music. They and Beoga too. Fabulously.🎶
can't stop coming back to these wonderful guys for weeks now, so good ❤
Absolutely love Talisk!
Always wonderful to listen to your group. Cheers from Virginia!
My thought was, BOY, that's a lot of sound for three people, on acoustic instruments, then I saw the loopers...nice. Those things really expand the capabilities of any musician, but especially so soloists, and then people in a small group, like this. The stutter in the concertina is very cool, that thing, with you playing it, is REALLY agile. The energy is first rate, also.
IT IS COOL MEN
Alright you got me. I’ll buy a bottle of Jura.
Stunning !!!!!! sitting in New Zealand, feeling my Scottish pride rise through the roof !!!!! They are one of my top three fav bands, well-done, boys indeed; keep that music alive.
To Smokey a flavour for me
Dig it
I once ve been reading somewhere in a Scottish article..."Archie mcAllister, the harshest fiddler of Scotland" .....Yeah,...what exactly to understand by that word "harsh"?. As for me,I would say..."The fiddler with greatest autority as a soloist".And....fiddler in the Alasdair mcCuish Blackrose Band? How bloody else?(..)
Love Jura! I sing your praises in all my hunt videos when I see it. I hope to visit some day.
A W E S O M E

Just discovered you guys and I am loving it
youve made the Irishman proud, all Celts !!!!!! May your sounds of seeds grow to OTHERS!!!!!!
Amazing place to visit. It’s one of the most surreal places I’ve been to. Definitely going back some time soon
Awesome 👌🎶
Just Amazing!!!
Can anyone tell me what they’re saying at around 20:30? I’m really curious.
It's the Scottish accents maybe catching you out.Graeme Armstrong the guitarist shouts out "all the way from Glasgow (Scotland ) on concertina Mohsen Amini"......Mohsen replies "lets hear it for Graeme Armstrong on guitar"....Mohsen also shouts out "and for Hayley Keenan on the fiddle",,,,,,,,, right after these introductions he shouts out 'Lets see you put your hands together (clap along to the music.) This is the way they do it live in front of an audience. Unfortunately this was around the time of the pandemic lockdown in Scotland so there was just a live stream or recording from the Jura Whisky Distillery on the Isle of Jura ,Scotland .The annual Jura Feis (music festival) is now back to normal and the line up is around on here at youtube. Some other Scottish acts in this genre on here at youtube worth a listen to are RURA....MANRAN....ROSS AINSLIE.....BREABACH.....KINNARIS QUINTET...TIDE LINES.....PROJECT SMOK....PAUL McKENNA BAND...FOURTH MOON...DAIM.....SKIPINNISH all of these names will lead you to many ,many more acts we're blessed to have around us here in Scotland
Thank you for sharing that with me! I've never had the opportunity to talk to someone with a Scottish accent, and English isn't my first language either. However, I've grown a strong appreciation for Scottish music because of these individuals and their performance in this video in particular. It's inspired me to really dive into the details and understand everything that's happening!
@@humank3985 Enjoy the journey ,you'll hear and see very accomplished musicians and music that are worth listening to. Some may sing in Scottish Gaelic which although you may not understand the words the music itself will convey the message of joy, sadness ,life , death. Et al
@@johnmcdade7379 Absolutely! Scottish music captivates me emotionally, even though I struggle to put into words what draws me to it. It has a cyclical nature while also being enriched with dynamic transitions.
12.33well done brillantplaying
Enjoyed the music......1st time I have listened to them.

Any information about moving to this island permanent
Man, this is so weird. . . .watching and hearing an 'Arab man' speak fluentely '' scuttisch '' xD
such a weird turn on LOL
Technically he’s (half) persian (iranian), heh.
Beautiful folks
i've never seen a concertina stretched that much. are the meant to stretch that much?
They can. It's party a function of the number of bellows folds. Many are six, some are 8, I'm only counting 7 which I think would be pretty odd. Anyhow, I bet he has to change the oil and rotate the tires on that thing very frequently.
lifetime supply of Jura after that performance.
That was worth every penny of your marketing budget. I have my glass of Jura here beside me.
For a second I thought the accordion was Mairead Green. Very nice tho, where can I find more about Talan? I don't find them in Spotify nor RUclips
ditto, would love to find more!
Facebook, but this video is the only music I can find streaming.
Great music, great landscape... great thanks from France ! I know and I love Jura and Islay and, sure, I'll come back, folks !
Amazing! best music find of 2022!! (just in time!)
The fiddle player is so hot, and amazing!
